How to Answer the Question, “If You Heard Anything Bad About Me”

26

When responding to an interviewer who asks whether you have heard anything negative about yourself, it can be challenging to come up with an outstanding response. Keep in mind that an interviewer wants something genuine and individualistic rather than the textbook answer.

4. I’m a liar

Liars are those who deceive by falsifying or falsifying statements they are making to others, which is a severe act and sin according to Scripture (Revelation 21:8). Liars often receive negative labeling due to being perceived as not telling the truth (this term often stems from Latin for false, and commonly used negatively as such. A popular children’s jump-rope rhyme goes “Liar, Liar Pants On Fire!”). Liars also can come from deceitful natures (which the Bible acknowledges). However, some more severe lies may come out than others – one such lie would likely attract condemnation from God (Revelation 21:8).
