Joe Biden was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on November 20, 1942. That Joseph R. Biden was the eldest son of Sr. and Catherine Eugenia “Jean” Biden. Biden’s family was of Irish descent and grew up in a Catholic household. Biden’s parents had four children, of whom Joe Biden was the eldest. Biden’s siblings are James Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, and Elizabeth Biden.
Biden married his first wife, Neilia Hunter, in 1966. They had three children: Joseph “Beau” Biden III, Robert Hunter Biden, and Naomi Christina Biden.
